1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions apply to all web design services provided by GoDigital NE Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the client"). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

GoDigital NE Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13313142, based in North East England.

2. Our Services

We provide web design and development services as outlined in our service packages. The specific scope of each project will be agreed upon before work begins.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • All prices shown on our website are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
  • A quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is provided.
  • Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges, which will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins.
  • The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before the website goes live.
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer.
  • Late payments may result in work being paused until payment is received.

5. Project Timeline

  • Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and depend on timely feedback and content from the client.
  • Delays caused by late content, feedback, or change requests may extend the delivery timeline.
  • We will keep you informed of progress throughout the project.

6. Revisions

  • Each package includes a specified number of revision rounds (see our pricing page for details).
  • A revision round includes feedback and changes provided in a single batch.
  • Additional revision rounds beyond what's included in your package can be arranged at an agreed rate.

7. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth project, the client agrees to:

  • Provide all necessary content (text, images, logos) in a timely manner
  • Provide feedback within 5 business days of receiving drafts
  • Ensure any content provided does not infringe on third-party copyright or intellectual property rights

8. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, the client owns the completed website design and content.
  • We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
  • Third-party resources (fonts, stock images, etc.) are subject to their respective licences.

9. Hosting & Maintenance

We deliver the completed website files. Hosting setup and ongoing maintenance are the client's responsibility unless a separate arrangement is agreed.

10. Limitation of Liability

We will take reasonable care in providing our services. However, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services or the client's website. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific project.

11. Cancellation

  • If the client cancels after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Any work completed beyond the deposit amount will be billed proportionally.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a project if the client becomes unresponsive for more than 30 days.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Existing projects are governed by the terms agreed at the start of the project.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
